 B360 is providing Design and Construction management services for the Bourbon Coffee North America. The restaurant will serves as a focal point for the people around 21st and L Street in Washington, DC
Following LEED guidelines the facility faces south to maximize the energy saving potential of the sun. The Bizsolutions 360 team found this project particularly challenging as the stakeholders, fell behind on schedule with the start of the project. Detailed information was not available at the initial stages of the Bourbon business goals. Past performance by client wasted resources without any tangible resource. By associating the business ideals with Bizsolutions 360, Bourbon Coffee has begun to realize the results and timely schedule unto which tasks are being completed.
Careful management and attention to detail guided the project to achieve substantial completion of the design phase and allowed Construction and occupancy take place in a timely manner. Quality issues were constant and required firm management tactics to assure design intent was met. The client is considering B360 for projects in other areas within the United States and particularly inn Boston
Topographic Survey
Bizsolutions 360 managed the preparation of a topographic survey for the site of a new Administration and Light Tech Center building. Based on the survey, the buildings were sited to minimize conflicts with future construction and to eliminate the need for a grading permit. All work was provided four weeks turnaround to meet the needs of the bid schedule.
 Modular Building for Resource Management
Project management services as the Owner’s Representative for the building of a 11,000 SF modular office building. Bizsolutions 360 assisted the Client through the permitting process and coordinated all contracts. Bizsolutions 360 advised, obtained and managed cabling, plumbing, electrical and landscaping services while managing the general contractor’s contract work. The project was completed on time and within budget.
Heavy Duty Industrial Building Phasing Study
Bizsolutions 360 conducted a study of the phasing requirements for the Heavy duty Industrial Building. The study included an investigation of three alternative approaches for phasing the unoccupied renovation of the project. Mechanical, Electrical and life safety considerations were explored along with a study of the move and swing space requirements for future use. A detailed move plan for zone was developed as part of this study.
Light Industrial and Parking Feasibility Study
Bizsolutions 360 conducted a feasibility study for additional entrance/Exit and parking for the Light Industrial building Potential areas were identified for employees and handicap parking. Recommendations for layout, budget and expediting the permitting process were provided |
